About Us.

Born in a Kitchen.
Grown by a Community.

What started as a simple experiment.
In the middle of the quiet days of COVID, when the world slowed down, one kitchen came alive.
What started as a simple experiment — a wife kneading her first sourdough loaf — turned into a daily ritual.
The smell of fresh bread filled the house, and soon, neighbors began to notice.

Lechem Bakery was born from that moment.
At first, it was just a few loaves shared with friends. Then, word spread. People waited outside for the next batch to come out of the oven. What began as a home project became a movement — a return to real bread, made with time, touch, and heart.

Bread the Way It Was Meant to Be.
Every Lechem loaf begins with a humble mix of flour and water that grows into a natural, living starter — nurtured daily, never replaced. We let time do what machines cannot.

From one home oven to a full bakery, the same principles remain
Natural starter, slow fermentation, baked by hand in Dutch ovens — the authentic way.
Every loaf carries the story of where it began
A simple home, a family’s warmth, and a community that believed good bread could still bring people together.
